Dr. Jeremy Barnett Scholarship 2023

For Future Doctors

Medical students are encouraged to apply here for the Dr. Jeremy Barnett Scholarship for Future Doctors. An award of $1,000 will be presented to one student that is studying to become a doctor. The requirement for entering into our contest is a short essay and the winner will be selected based off of the content in the submitted essay.

Scholarship Overview

Dr. Jeremy Barnett studied for many years to become a medical professional, and now would like a chance to pay it forward to the future generation of medical students through this scholarship fund.

The Dr. Jeremy Barnett Scholarship for Future Doctors announces our fund open for future doctors, which is located in the United States and will provide a monetary reward to a deserving future doctor who is studying to enter into the field of medicine and to create awareness for the complex range of issues that young students face on the path to becoming doctors.

Criteria

To apply, the student should be currently enrolled at a university in the United States in pursuit of a medical degree, or high school that will attend university to study medicine.

We will have an essay content to award the winner of our scholarship.  One winner will be chosen with the best essay of under 1000 words answering the following:  

“A degree in medicine comes with great responsibility.  How would you use your medical degree to help benefit society”

Amount

One time award of $1,000

Deadline

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is June 15, 2023.

Winner Announced

The winner for the scholarship will be announced July 15, 2023.
