In 1996, Dr. Jeremy Barnett earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and then went on to an internship at Baystate Medical Center. He completed his residencies at the University of Medicine and Dentistry University Hospital and the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. His fellowships were completed at Mount Sinai Hospital and at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Barnett holds a certification in critical care by the American Board of Internal Medicine as a result of all his training. He also received his Juris Doctorate in 2022 from the Concord Law School at Purdue University. Dr. Barnett has a reputation for being compassionate towards patients and their families as well as hardworking and always willing to go the extra mile.
Dr. Barnett makes a point to personally call patient’s families daily or several times daily if needed to provide updates on their loved ones’ care. He also spends many hours giving education to his staff, creating teamwork, and caring for the even sickest patients. Dr. Jeremy Barnett does these things not because he wants recognition, but to be of service.
